  • 2013 – Retired from International Development Career; Now OS Wayfarer website manager and eBook developer at Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
  • 2005 – 2013: Independent Consultant – International Development Assistance (International Program/Project Director, Tenderer, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist), Based in Wollongong and Maroochydore.
  • 1998 – 2004: General Manager, Manager Project Development; International Program/Project Director at ITC International; University of Wollongong.
  • 1995 – 1997: Technical Teacher Trainer at Hawthorn Institute of Education (HIE), Melbourne, Victoria; International project manager and tenderer.
  • 1992 – 1994: Vocational Training Consultant, Programs Manager for Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation’s (SESCO’s) Employee Development Project in cooperation with Hawthorn Institute of Education, Kuching, Sarawak
  • 1988 – 1991: Artisan Training Expert (Team Leader) for the Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines, Artisan Training Project in cooperation with HIE, Kitwe
  • 1985 – 1987: Technical Teacher Trainer at Hawthorn Institute of Education (HIE), Melbourne, Victoria. (National and international Students)
  • 1981 – 1984: Electronics Trades Adviser at the Bandung Technical Teacher Upgrading Centre as a part of the Indonesia-Australia Technical Education Project (IATEP, AusAID). Managed by Hawthorn Institute of Education
  • 1977 – 1980: Technical Teacher – Radio & Television with the Queensland Education Department, Yeronga and South Brisbane Colleges of TAFE.
  • 1968 – 1976: Radio Technician (Air) in the Royal Australian Air Force serving in No.1 Operational Control Unit (Amberley – Canberra Bombers); No. 2 Squadron (Vietnam – Canberra Bombers); and 482 Squadron (Amberley – Phantoms & F111s)
  • 1950 – 1967: Born and raised in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. Secondary School – Pimlico State High School.
